"After these things, I looked and behold, a great multitude which no one could count from every nation, and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes and palm branches were in their hands, and they cry out with a loud voice saying, "Salvation to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb!" WELCOME TO OUR PRAYER BLOG!

It's hard to believe we plan to get on a plane in 11 days (June 17th)! Along with all the excitement involved in going to Russia (many of us for the first time in our lives!) and seeing beautiful and ancient cities, we also have a longing to see more of our Heavenly Father's heart as He introduces us to the people He loves in Russia. Thank you for taking this journey with us!

Here are the members of our team:
Johnny Fuller (baton); Barbara Schrodt (flute); Stacey Roquemore (flute); Gary (video camera) and Beverly Golden (oboe); Dee Pait (oboe); Amy Allen (clarinet); Mindy Byerts (clarinet); Jose Muniz (clarinet); Jennifer O'Neill (clarinet); Dan Serrago (French Horn); Rhonda Buchanan (French Horn); Kevin Roquemore (French Horn); Kyle Anderson (trumpet); Brandon Boyer (trumpet); Jim Wade (trumpet); Bill Palen (trombone); Camp Kirkland (trombone/composer); Preston Prior (bass trombone); David Snipes (tuba); Robert Wilkinson (timpani); Joy Lovell (piano/organ); Jan George (voice - soprano); Celeste Boyer (violin); Christina Harvey (violin); Diana Gooch (violin); Deborah Beams (violin); Lauren Magnus (viola); Kara Taeger (cello); Geoffrey Golden (cello); Ciara Pait (cello)

Here are some of the amazing promises that reveal the heart of our Lord Jesus about prayer:

"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit." John 15:7-8

"You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. This I command you, that you love one another." John 15:16-17

Here are some things you can be praying for us as we prepare for our trip to Russia:

  • The Lord would give us divine appointments every day and be leading those who decide all our activities.
  • That through us, He would greatly bless our brothers and sisters in Christ whom we are partnering with who are already there.
  • We would have safety in travel.
  • Christ's joy would be in us and our joy would be made full.
  • We would be prepared to have servants' hearts towards each other and the people of Russia.
  • Our Heavenly Father would do great things that only He can do in the lives and minds of the people we will meet - to draw them to Himself, to teach them spiritual truth, and to show them His great love for them.
  • We would be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading. That when we see we are about to quench Him, we would look to Christ and worship and imitate.
  • The peace of Christ would rule in our hearts as we encounter less-than-comfortable situations and get to practice flexibility.
  • He would give us wisdom in the things we do and say.
  • He would give us excellence as we create music.
  • That God would provide cellos for us to rent in Russia.
  • That the needs of the people would be met, that the people would be empowered to more efficiently tap into the vast natural resources to provide for their existing need.
  • That many people's hunger to know what is true would be met by evidence of who Christ is, how He has loved us, and how He works in our lives. That cultish practices would be extinguished and truth would spread.
We'll post an itinerary as soon as it's finalized.

  2. Also looking forward to meeting everyone. Even though I'm leaving on the 17th from Nairobi, I will be there a day ahead of the rest of the group.
